Donating Stripes

Posted by Anne Watson on

A number of years ago, a friend of mine gave me two photographs of large cats which were in residence at what was then known as Carnivore Preservation Trust. (Now Carolina Tiger Rescue). It is a nonprofit organization which rescues animals, primarily wildcats, and provides conservation education to the public. I have treasured these photographs over the years and when Heidi Zangara, Planned Giving Manager at Carolina Tiger Rescue asked me to donate to their silent auction/fundraiser (which will take place on Monday, February 27, 2017), I quickly agreed.

I decided to donate this black and gold striped evening scarf from Page and Company Collection because it resembled the stripes of these grand large cats.
